These newly launched EV Centres of Excellence (CoE) serve as a hub for hands-on training, innovation, and industry-focused learning for students and trainees across Government ITIs.

What the EV Centres of Excellence Offer

Each EV Centre is equipped with state-of-the-art EV Skill Labs designed to provide experiential learning in:

• EV Battery Technology – Design, assembly, and testing of lithium-ion battery packs.

• EV Motor & Controller Testing – Hands-on learning with BLDC and PMSM motor systems.

• EV Charging Infrastructure – Understanding AC and DC fast charging stations.

• EV Power Electronics & Simulation – Using advanced software for design and analysis.

• End-to-End EV Assembly Training – From drivetrain to energy storage systems.

These facilities ensure that students gain practical exposure to the latest EV technologies, making them industry-ready for the growing electric mobility sector.
